On December 18, 2021, the "Petites Formes Compagnie" troupe from the "Théâtre de Liens" association performed at Bayeux's Halle Ô Grains for the last show of the tour of the play "Potiche", created in 1980 by Pierre Barillet and Jean-Pierre Gredy for Jacqueline Maillan.
In this magnificent building, which will be completely renovated in 2019, over 250 spectators gathered in a warm atmosphere where laughter and applause punctuated this cheerful show.
The actors kept the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the play, proving that amateur theater has a bright future ahead of it.
The show was given in aid of the Centre François Baclesse, as its deputy general manager, Jean-Luc Hamon, reminded us at the opening of the performance. Part of the profits and all the donations collected during the evening were donated to the Centre François Baclesse, in support of cancer research. In all, just over €500 was donated by the Association Théâtre de Liens to the Centre François Baclesse.
