The Centre Baclesse would like to express its deep gratitude to the "Les Sapins de l'Espoir" association, whose generosity has enabled the purchase ofa Totale RT table, worth almost €12,000, for its radiotherapy department.
A visit rich in exchanges
This new-generation medical equipment, now in use in radiotherapy, helps to position patients correctly during treatment sessions. Thanks to restraints modeled on the area to be treated, patients are optimally immobilized, enabling them to precisely target the area to be treated.
At the end of August 2025, Mr de CHAMBORD, the association's representative, had the opportunity to see how the Totale RT table is used in practice. This exchange of views was an opportunity to demonstrate the positive impact of this equipment on patient care.
Les Sapins de l'Espoir" association
Created in 1993, the 1901 law association is run by volunteers. Currently chaired by Madame DUTERTRE, the association raises funds throughout the year to finance the purchase of equipment for the fight against cancer and for medical research.
Funds are raised through donations, sales of items made for Christmas markets and events organized for the benefit of the association. No money is given directly: the association buys the equipment, and running costs are entirely covered by the members.
