On October 26, the Rock4Life association presented a donation of 8,130 euros to Professor Roman ROUZIER, executive director of the Baclesse Center, in the presence of its partners. This amount, raised during its third charity concert, will help advance breast cancer research at the Baclesse Center.
This donation marks the culmination of several months of dedication and hard work. Behind this wonderful charitable initiative are Brigitte MARIE and her son Victor, who have been keeping Rock4Life alive for the past three years and channeling their shared passion for music toward cancer research.
A rock concert dedicated to generosity
Getting the audience moving to the beat of rock music while supporting breast cancer research: that’s the mission behind Rock4Life. Each event requires several months of preparation to bring together artists, volunteers, partners, and the public for a concert that’s both a musical celebration and an act of solidarity. The presence of partners at the donation ceremony is a testament to this wonderful collective effort. Together, they help transform the energy of the concerts into tangible support for breast cancer research.

On September 18, at the Big Band Café in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, the third edition of the charity concert brought together music and generosity. Headlining the event, Yarol POUPAUD put his talent to work for the cause. A guitarist, singer, and founding member of FFF, this icon of French rock has performed with Johnny HALLYDAY and Niagara, among others. With powerful rhythms and incisive solos, his musical style is undeniably tailored for the stage.
Opening the show, the Normandy-based band Le Blob—founded by Khalifa BELOUZAA in 2023—presented a free-spirited musical style blending rock, reggae, jazz, and funk. The lineup reflected the spirit of the organization: energetic and unifying.
THANK YOU!
The Baclesse Center extends its warmest thanks to Victor and Brigitte Marie, the artists, volunteers, partners, and everyone who contributed to this evening. Their generosity and dedication make the spirit of solidarity resonate far beyond the stage.
Thank you, everyone!
