On June 18, 2024, the Baclesse Center received a generous donation of stuffed animals from members of the Normandie Sites association. This donation, consisting of 12 boxes containing more than 200 toys and stuffed animals, will bring comfort and joy to children undergoing radiation therapy.
Generous initiative from Normandie sites
Normandie Site is an association of professionals from 129 tourist sites in Normandy, whose aim is to pool their know-how and develop their activities together.
The following structures took part in this initiative:
- Festiland
- The Villers-sur-Mer Paleospace
- Station Radar 44, Franco-German museum, better known as Musée du Radar de Douvres-la-Délivrande
- Skypark Normandie (Viaduc de la Souleuvre)
- Jurques Zoo
- The Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg
- PNR, an operational marketing integrator based in Carpiquet.
Many thanks for their mobilization and invaluable support. The PNR company also lent its support to the operation with the creation of the partner panel and delivery of the gifts to the Baclesse Center.
The Centre Baclesse would like to thank these donors for their generosity and commitment. Thanks to their contributions, we will be able to offer gifts adapted to the interests and ages of the children, who range from 9 months to 16 years. The diversity of themes and characters represented in these toys enables us to personalize gifts for each child, bringing a little comfort during their treatment. In fact, our gifts include plush toys with different characters, as well as little secret notebooks, key rings, puzzles and more.
