Patient Safety Week, held at the Centre François Baclesse from September 16 to 20, was a resounding success, uniting all teams around a common objective: to reinforce the culture of quality and care safety, while preparing teams for the HAS certification visit. More than 600 people took part in the event, which featured 8 interactive workshops designed to raise awareness of care safety issues.
Varied workshops for a global approach to safety
In order to cover the many aspects of care safety, the workshops offered covered a wide range of topics: quality, risk management, infectious risk prevention, cybersecurity, medication, patient rights, crisis management, life-threatening emergencies, waste, patient records, pain...
A competitive challenge to encourage everyone to get involved
To make the week even more engaging, a competitive challenge was launched, enabling each department to test their knowledge of care safety and best practices. Nearly 250 professionals took part. The teams were particularly motivated and dynamic.
A prize-giving ceremony to congratulate the winners
The week ended with a prize-giving ceremony to reward the departments with the highest scores.
This event served to highlight the commitment of all concerned, and to remind us of the importance of a collective approach to guaranteeing safe care.
It was also an opportunity to present the new charter of trust and incentives for reporting adverse events, as well as the new reporting format: the PROGRES form.
Many thanks to all the teams and patients who took an active part in Patient Safety Week, demonstrating once again our shared commitment to putting quality and safety at the heart of our practices.
