The Centre Baclesse, the Centre Henri Becquerel, the two leading cancer centers in Normandy, and the Centre Sportif de Normandie in Houlgate formalized their collaboration on Wednesday June 12 with the signing of a partnership agreement.
Individualized support
The aim of this initiative is to offer sports and health stays to breast cancer patients in Normandy. The
programs, developed jointly by the teams at the three facilities, aim to encourage patients to resume
adapted physical activity, in a privileged setting conducive to well-being.
This partnership is part of a personalized, one-to-one support approach, taking into account the needs and expectations of each individual.
"Physical activity is an essential part of rehabilitation for cancer patients. It helps reduce the after-effects and side effects of treatment and limits the risk of relapse. This partnership with the Normandy Sports Center in Houlgate allows us to offer high-quality stays in an exceptional setting. It fits perfectly with our humanistic and comprehensive approach to care," emphasizes Michael CANOVAS, Deputy Director General of the Baclesse Center.
