On Wednesday June 28, 2023, Falaise mayor Hervé Maunoury welcomed the Falaise Lions Club and other associations and organizations involved in the fight against cancer to his town hall. This convivial gathering was an opportunity for the Falaise Lions Club to present the funds raised during the Tulips Against Cancer 2023 operation.
Daniel Richard, President of the Falaise Lions Club, announced that Operation 2023 had raised €68,000, of which €40,000 was allocated to cancer research and support for cancer sufferers and their families in Normandy.
Mr. Richard presented a cheque for €14,000 to Prof. Marc-André MAHE, General Manager of the Centre Baclesse, in aid of cancer research. This donation will support the teams of researchers who work daily to advance research and innovation for the benefit of all patients.
