On September 5, 2022, the Centre Baclesse was visited by a delegation from Hanoi's K Hospital, Vietnam's national cancer hospital.
This is the logical continuation of the collaboration initiated by the signing of a memorandum of understanding in November 2021 with the Vietnamese government, and continued by a visit to Vietnam by a Centre Balcesse delegation in June 2022.
Cooperation between the two establishments began several months ago, with the setting up of multidisciplinary consultation meetings involving Vietnamese and French doctors.
The delegation of Vietnamese doctors was led by Professor LE Van Quang, General Director of Hanoi's K Hospital, and included :
- Prof. PHAM Van Binh, Deputy Director, K Hospital
- Dr DO Hung Kien, Head of Medical Oncology Department 1 (Head and Neck)
- Dr VU Dinh Tien, Head of Pharmacy Department
- Dr DAO Van Tu, Director of the Research and Clinical Trials Center
Our guests were able to visit a large part of the Centre Baclesse, in the fields of care, teaching and research.
Several areas of cooperation have been identified:
- The training of young Vietnamese doctors who will come to perfect their knowledge and skills thanks to the Centre Baclesse's expertise and cutting-edge technologies.
- Hosting Vietnamese patients at the Centre Baclesse, who will be able to benefit from the latest innovations in treatment and the quality of our care.
- Oncology day hospitalization flow organization consultancy
