Florence BASSEUX, a shopkeeper in Lion-Sur-Mer, proposed to the other shopkeepers in the commune to support Pink October and the fight against breast cancer at the Centre Baclesse.

Florence BASSEUX's idea is simple: to make moneyboxes available in partner stores to raise funds for the Centre Baclesse during Pink October. Around thirty of them are enthusiastically taking part in this action.

Lion-sur-Mer shopkeepers set up a pink piggy bank to support the Centre Baclesse in Caen.

During the month of October, pink piggy banks made by the "Loisirs Créatifs" association and a "Pink October" poster are placed in each store involved in the adventure, to encourage customers to make donations for the Centre Baclesse.

Over €550 to support breast cancer research

On Friday November 10, 2023, Florence BASSEUX and Erick BOYER came to the Centre Baclesse to present Géraldine Payen, in charge of donations and donor relations, with the sum of €567.

Organized for Pink October, this donation will help support a research project focused on breast cancer: the ORGAPRED platform, and more specifically the TRIPLEX study/clinical trial.
