On April 3, 2025, Roger LOUVET and Jean-Claude GUYOMARC'H, members of the organizing committee for the Randonnée Lisieux - La Cerza, presented a cheque for 1,050 euros to the Centre François-Baclesse in Caen, in support of improving patient comfort and well-being.
An Adventure in the Heart of the Pays d'Auge
On Sunday October 27, 2024, the 32nd edition of the Lisieux - La Cerza hike brought together 2116 participants, including 986 mountain bikers and 1130 walkers, in the LISIEUX region (Calvados). This unique event, crossing the Cerza zoological park, enabled participants to explore trails in the surrounding communes, while discovering the zoo's animals.
A hike with routes to suit all levels: five mountain bike routes (from 23 to 65 km) and three walking routes (from 17 to 25 km) were on offer, each offering a variety of challenges. The crossing of the zoo, as well as the technical courses, were the highlights of this hike.
The success of the day was due in large part to the commitment of the volunteers, who were involved throughout the preparation of the event and on the day of the ride. Their meticulous work, from managing refreshments to coordinating logistics, ensured that participants enjoyed a memorable experience.
Long-term support for the Centre Baclesse
Since 2017, the Lisieux - La Cerza hike has been actively supporting the Centre Baclesse. The donation of 1,050 euros handed over testifies to the importance of a commitment to solidarity in the fight against cancer and the improvement of patients' living conditions.
Thank you all so much! Your loyal support is invaluable!
