On Wednesday May 14, 2025, the Centre Baclesse was delighted to receive a cheque for €14,000 from the Coutances Lions Club, as part of their "Tulips against Cancer" charity initiative.
The ceremony was held at Coutances Town Hall, in the presence of Professor Roman ROUZIER, General Manager of the Centre Baclesse in Caen, and Dominique LIBESSART, President of the Coutances Lions Club.
For almost 30 years, this emblematic operation has mobilized more than 150 volunteers, 160 partner retailers and hundreds of donors around a single objective: the fight against cancer. The principle is as simple as it is generous: plant, harvest, assemble bouquets... and offer these tulips in exchange for donations.
Thanks to the unfailing commitment of Lions Club members and their partners, the 2025 event raised valuable funds to support the Centre Baclesse's projects, particularly in research and innovation for the benefit of patients.
