On Sunday October 8 in Jullouville (50), the 10th edition of Les Jullouvillaises drew almost 400 people for its 3 km (round trip) walk in the water and on the sand, and nearly 1,000 spectators.
Godmother of the 2023 event, Dr Corinne JEANNE, pathologist at the Centre Baclesse, presented the facility's research and supportive care initiatives. She also promoted breast cancer screening, since " almost 50% of women over 50 do not go for screening ".
10 years of the Jullouvillaises: solidarity and conviviality
The brainchild of association president Estelle COHIER, the Jullouvillaises have raised €47,000 to support the fight against breast cancer. They support the Centre Baclesse. During the 2022 event, the €9,210 raised helped to co-finance the photobiomodulation device and the ORGAPRED research project, and to contribute to the opening of theTriplex clinical trial.
