Nicolas Larcher and Alexis Chardon, both professionals at the Centre Baclesse, and their friend Mehdi set themselves the challenge of cycling around the English Channel in semi-autonomy. Their 550 km journey took place over 4 days, from Thursday October 20 to Sunday October 23, 2022.
Beyond the sporting challenge, they raised €1,205 to support cancer research at the Centre François Baclesse.
Departing from the Baclesse Center on Thursday, October 20, they traveled to Granville (50), Cherbourg (50), and then Baupte (50). It was in this town that the three athletes took part in an aperitif concert organized by the association "Les Irréductibles Bauptois" on Saturday, October 22, 2022. The association, proud to be involved in this initiative, gave them the proceeds from the sale of cakes and crepes, as well as the contents of the donation box available to those present.
The adventure ended on Sunday October 23 with a finish at the Centre François Baclesse.
This sporting challenge enabled Alexis, Nicolas and Medhi to raise the magnificent sum of 1,205 euros to support research at the Centre Baclesse.

Congratulations on your sporting adventure!
A huge THANK YOU for their generosity and commitment.
