On Sunday, October 16, over 400 people took part in events organized by a dozen associations in support of Pink October. The event raised €3,571.40 for research at Baclesse.
A day of mobilization in October
On Sunday October 16, 2022, in Baron-sur-Odon, the Trail du Bois de Baron association, the English and German twinning committees, the town's Comité d'Animation, the Club des Anciens, the Godillots Baronnais, the Harley Davidson dealership in Ifs and the Eterville theater club have joined forces to organize events to mark Pink October.
For this first edition, more than 400 people took part in hikes, the Trail de l'Odon, and admired the pink exhibitions created by local associations.
The aim of these events was to raise money for research at the Centre Baclesse. The day was a great success, raising 3,571.40 euros for the Centre. The organizers, proud of this success, promise to repeat the operation in 2023.
A cheque presented to Baclesse
On Friday November 18, 2022, Annick Hervieu(president of the Trail), Isabelle Millan (deputy mayor of Baron-sur-Odon), Dominique Bernier (Club des anciens), Béatrice Laignel (German Twinning Committee) presented Hermeline Delepouve (director of communications, international relations and sponsorship) with a cheque for 3,571.40 euros to support research at the Centre Baclesse.
